Local Distribution Fund (30%)

30% of NVTA's total funding is directly returned to Northern Virginia’s cities, counties, and towns. Each jurisdiction has the flexibility to use these funds for its own transportation priorities, such as local road improvements, transit services, bike and pedestrian enhancements and more.
